Cobblemon Poser Converter
Some Cobblemon Pokémon are posed by code compiled into the mod, so a resource pack can't change them. Pick the ones you want and download them as JSON posers you can edit — to override a pose for everyone, or to give your own skin its own.
Fixed Oct 6, 2026: 50 posers downloaded before then crashed the game when loaded. Re-download them.
They moved the whole Pokémon (shoulder and water-surface offsets) by naming its root bone, which a JSON poser has to call __root. Affected: Anorith, Arctozolt, Armaldo, Avalugg, Beedrill, Bellossom, Bibarel, Buizel, Butterfree, Carbink, Caterpie, Charcadet, Combee, Comfey, Croconaw, Flittle, Glimmet, Illumise, Klefki, Larvitar, Lombre, Lotad, Milcery, Morelull, Pelipper, Petilil, Quaquaval, Roggenrola, Scatterbug, Sizzlipede, Skrelp, Squawkabilly, Squirtle, Surskit, Swoobat, Totodile, Turtwig, Vibrava, Vivillon, Volbeat, Walkingwake, Wartortle, Weedle, Wingull, Woobat, Wooper, Wooper (Paldean), Yanma, Yanmega, Zigzagoon.
How to use it
- Tick the Pokémon you want (search by name or Pokédex number).
- Choose whether the poser replaces Cobblemon's own, or is a copy for your skin.
- Download. One poser downloads as a
.json; several come as a zip.
Where it goes
Posers live in a resource pack at assets/cobblemon/bedrock/pokemon/posers/. The "resource pack" download is already laid out that way — drop it into resourcepacks/.
A skin copy is only used where a resolver points at it: "poser": "cobblemon:comfey_myskin".
